Jimmy calls Mr. Ryan and tells him the robbery didn’t go as planned: O’Brien was killed before they could get the money. This scam is a double-cross dreamed up by Barbara. Cynthia rejoins them in their room, points her gun at Jimmy and demands all the loot. Barbara shoots her. Jimmy feels woozy and realizes that Barbara poisoned the whiskey he has been drinking. Barbara points her gun at Jimmy and pulls the trigger. The last thing he sees is the flame bursting from the barrel of the gun, looking exactly like … a white flower.
